Students, scientists, faculty and researchers are invited to submit poster for presentation at the 2020 Tri-State CACS Annual Symposium at Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy, Lecture Hall 131, Rutgers University, Busch Campus, 160 Frelinghuysen Road, Piscataway, NJ 08854. The theme of this year’s symposium is “Chemistry in Modern Life”. We welcome posters which share research across all disciplines related to the theme. For consideration, abstracts must have been submitted no later than July 31st, 2020. Accepted abstracts will be printed in the symposium booklet and posted at the Tristate CACS website http://tristatecacs.org/. Poster presenters must be registered to attend the symposium and the registration is free of charge. There will be a student poster contest and two posters will be selected by the organizing committee for first place with monetary award of ($100), and second place for ($50).

CACS is a 501(C)(3) non-profit organization with the purposes of promoting fellowship and professional development among Chinese American chemical professionals, advocating for chemical sciences, and facilitating business interactions between companies in chemical and pharmaceutical industries in the US and Greater China. Senior R&D leaders from industry, distinguished educators from universities, Senior Officers from federal agencies, as well as Presidents of the American Chemical Society, have given keynote speeches at this venue in the past. By showcasing how each institution and the chemical enterprise together benefit our society, the symposium serves as a great channel for advocacy and an educational opportunity for the audience. More information about CACS and past symposia can be found at the Tristate CACS website http://tristatecacs.org/.

Submit abstract with the Abstract Submission Form to info@tristatecacs.org no later than July 31st, 2020.
