2023 SUMMER BBQ PICNIC AND YOUTH SCIENCE FAIR

Dear E-CACS Members and Friends,

We are thrilled to invite you to a delightful Summer BBQ Picnic organized by the Chinese American Chemical Society - East Chapter! This exciting event will take place alongside a captivating Youth Science Fair with the theme of "Cool the Earth with Fire". Join us for a day filled with mouthwatering food, fascinating scientific discoveries, and an opportunity to connect with fellow enthusiasts. 

One of the highlights of our Summer BBQ Picnic will be the renowned Zibo BBQ. Get ready to savor the delectable flavors of this traditional Chinese barbecue style. Experience a symphony of tantalizing aromas and taste the culinary heritage brought to life. This is an experience you won't want to miss! 

Youth Science Fair: "Cool the Earth with Fire"  Alongside the Summer BBQ Picnic, we have an exciting Youth Science Fair lined up with a compelling theme - "Cool the Earth with Fire." Discover the remarkable science behind biochar and how it can be produced to combat climate change and its various applications.  

We are very grateful for the generous sponsorship from ACS Scientific, BirdoTech, Fox Rothschild and ExxonMobil to  our SUMMER BBQ PICNIC AND YOUTH SCIENCE FAIR.

This year, our picnic will take place at Donaldson Park on Saturday, August 5th from noon to 4 pm. All of you and your family are cordially invited.  

Please come and join us for this great social activity to meet your old friends or make some new friends, and more importantly, have some fun!

Free to current East CACS members and our sponsors as well as their families and friends, and kids (<= 16 years old), $10 for each non-member adult.
